today my mind was a bit blown. i thought i’d pretty much either experienced, or at least witnessed, all the rituals of the LDS church…then i stumble across this posting regarding something called a “second anointing”. a totally secret, invitation-only ritual.
(who’d have ever considered that Dog would have an invitation-only ritual to go to heaven?)

i’m transcribing my journals and some other documentation from my days as a snake oil salesman in japan. it’s a surprisingly difficult — laborious — process, trying to read and then type out from my 1980’s handwriting.
